Turbo Express International was established on 2005 which is
affiliated to COSCO Shanghai International Ocean Freight & Forwarding Co***ny
(Cosfre Shanghai for short)is one of the largest international freight
corporations on Shanghai port. In late 1997, the parent co***ny of China Ocean
Transportation (Group) adopted extensive measures of reform to establish a
system in which the transportation and selling of containers within the globe
are combined. Under this background, Cosfre Shanghai took a lead in extensive
system reform, and closely united its freight factorage and shipping factorage.
In this way, it greatly extended its field of marketing service and thus became
one of the freight factorage enterprises with the most powerful comprehensive
force on Shanghai port. At present, the corporation owns over 0.4 billion of
fixed assets, 0.2 million square meters of packing areas, over 100 trucks, and
all hardware facilities matching the methods used in modern international
freight. With as many as 64 regional corporations, subsidiaries, freight
departments and branch institutes throughout Shanghai as well as its nei***or
provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui, the corporation has established an
all-round and multi-functional international freight network which combines
ocean shipping, land-carriage with air-ferry and covers the business of the
three provinces of East China (Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui) and the interior
cities with Shanghai port as its spigot.
